About Us
Founded in 1974 by husband and wife John and Katherine (Kay) Clarke, Fumair remains a family-run and owned business.
Kay was the steady hand behind the scenes, managing the finances and administration, while John, throughout his many years running Fumair, was an innovative, hands-on engineer, well known for tackling challenges head-on, including his pet project—the Fumair Flyer, a 24-seater pedal-powered trike built and operated for charity.
Today, their children, Paul and Tonia, lead the company, ensuring that the same values and ethics that helped Fumair thrive through its early years continue to guide it today.
