Fume Extraction Ductwork
A correctly designed and installed fume extraction system will not only greatly
increase the safety, performance and efficiency of a fume containment
or capture system, but will also minimise running costs and noise
levels.
Working to the requirements and recommendations of BS:7258, DW:154,
BB:88 and other relevant standards, Fumair have the experience and
knowledge to fabricate and install circular or rectangular section
extract ductwork in a number of chemical-resistant materials, including
uPVC, fire retardant polypropylene, stainless steel and fire-rated
GRP laminate.
We manufacture a full range of ancillary items including access panels,
flexible connections, expansion joints, support bracketry in galvanised
or BZP steel, anti-blowback valves, attenuators, dilution manifolds
and weathering cravats.
Fume Extraction Fans
All too often we have seen installations where extract fans are incorrectly
sized for the equipment and ductwork they are serving, resulting in
noisy, inefficient systems.
Fumair can supply and install extract fans as part of the complete
installation package. We choose from a wide range of centrifugal,
bifurcated or in-line extract fans to best suit the installation and
manufacture a number of ancillary items to optimise ease of installation
and performance, including steel support bracketry, isolators, flexible
connections and transformation pieces.
A wide range of our own starters and control systems are available
to optimise performance and energy efficiency, including our very
popular inverter control system. |
